A couple of weeks ago I had a sale and payment, and within a few minutes, the buyer asked to cancel the sale and I did that and refunded the payment.
Today I get a reminder from eBay to leave feedback for that transaction.
Surely I am not expected to leave feedback for a cancelled transaction.

Feedback is still voluntary.
There would be cases where a failed transaction is still worthy of comment.
Whether negative or positive is up to the member.
I just wish that when I click to close a Feedback form that I have no intention of leaving FB for, that it would just go away and not hang around for months.

Yes, I agree. I don't see how I can leave positive feedback for a buyer who purchases and within minutes changes their mind and asks me to cancel and refund. Okay, they purchased and paid, but cancelling doesn't mean I can leave positive feedback, and it just stays there, and then eBay reminds me to leave feedback for it.

Sellers have a choice of positive feedback or no feedback.
Sellers can also add a Response to any feedback, their own or the buyer's, indefinitely.
Which is usually a bad idea.

I agree, the feature: 'No thanks, don't remind me again' would be nice.

"Comfy and easy to clean" perhaps?
