Filipino Customer Support

Is it just me or is the filipino customer support departments the worst? 99% of the time i get false information and have to inform them of policy along with what they can and can't do. I just had a Ssupport agent try to tell me that i can't mark an item as shipped until i have added the tracking number......

 

They delete notes, they don't write notes on file, they give you the whole 24-48 hour time frame with no response. It is turning out to be a nightmare for me dealing with this customer support department considering they give out so much flase information.

At least the Filipino reps are comparitively well paid. That attracts a better class of worker than the burned out minimum wage clerks in Utah.

And the Filipino reps actually know that Canada is not a part of the USA, possibly because they have a cousin working as a care aid in Calgary.

But none of the phone reps are particularly well-trained.

Filipino Customer Support

Yea, filipino culture is amazing. I am actually married to one that came to canada as a temperary worker, it just drives me up the wall with the lack of information some of the agents have in the Phillipines. It sounds like someone of them are left alone on the first day of work and they have no idea what they are doing.
