Germany’s VerpackG (Packaging Act)

International shipping for me matters not -There just isn't enough sales to warrant= In the past year I have had 2 sales to the U.K. and 1 to Australia( these being from one of my other selling sites) and about the same for 2020(also from that same other selling  site) I don't offer International shipping on eBay anymore as many years went by with 0 sales outside of USA and Canada so I will continue to maintain that 0 shipping outside of Canada and USA.

As to the other site I may re-consider re-adding U.K and Australia at some point if/when the fuel surcharge becomes more reasonable, but in the meantime, that site too will be NO shipping outside of USA and Canada. As previously mentioned, I am keeping things easy and simple; and as I wind down my online selling; I don't need to complicate things. I don't plan on doing this for much longer. I am about done with it after all these years. In all the years here on eBay, rarely shipped anything to Germany, so this topic about shipping to Germany is meaningless to me personally and doesn't/won't concern me; but others will want/will need to stay on top of it.

Germany’s VerpackG (Packaging Act)

It also may be noted that this type of packaging act doesn't just apply to Germany, so sellers are going to have to check everything out and will need to do their research, as it seems more countries are getting onboard with some sort of packaging act:

France, Spain, Poland, Greece, Luxembourg, Bulgaria, Romania,, Slovakia> not yet sure of the status of Portugal and Sweden
