I sold an item to a buyer back on the 4th December. He sent me a e-mail yesterday morning that he had not received the item and he was in Maine so it was not far away. He said he was going to file a INR if he had not received in the mail it so I sent him a Refund before it got any farther. Today when I turned the computer on I received an E-Mail saying he got the Parcel in the mail in the late after noon and sent me a return on the refund. I thanked him for his honesty and the refund and it made my day allot better.

Hi, its always nice to come across good people. Personally I wouldn't have refunded him before he got the item, but I would have reassured him that I am not a crook ( as the Nixon saying goes) and he will be looked after..
Now that being said , usually my items sell for hundreds of dollars. If your transaction was worth , say $20, then I probably would have done the same. Especially if the buyer was barking alot. I agree in a case where the amount is small, its not worth the headache( like I have right now. OOOOH those Christmas parties).
I recently had a buyer where he received the item and everything was good. In my stupor I accidentally gave him a refund when it was supposed to go to some else. I emailed him of the situation and he returned the money. As deserved I emailed him back telling him , how honest he was. Always nice to come across good people

I am really glad it all worked out well for you! I am always happy to read stories that turned out in a positive way. 😉

It was only a 20 dollar item so I gave him the Refund just to get rid of it. Since I closed the Store out last year I'm a low volume seller so I can't afford too many defects. I could care less about the TRS it is just the placement of the Auctions
Merry Christmas to every one from a wet Nova Scotia.
