Came across this by accident. Have always wondered why it wasn't available on dot ca but never could find.

If you wanted to pass on(offer) the correct discounts for postage you should be able to vs counter rates. (like US sellers can.) That should be entirely at a sellers discretion. Factual shipping vs the buyer going elsewhere when he sees something high. Strangely when you check counter rates for shipping in Canada Expedited is not offered. But buyer sees when you provide it as a service. Huh??

There is a version of this setting available on DOTca as well. I actually make use of it to reduce Canada Post by 10%, it works ... Atleast it does for calculated Canada Post services.
Follow the edit link from this link.

Included at bottom of my original post. For me I offer a variety of services. Each one has a different discount attached to it with CP. With USPS settings the discounted/published rates shown to buyer mirror what the seller pays.

And we get some reduced rates on Canada Post services with our Solutions for Small Business number.

The discrepancy between the 2 sites is subtle but is there.
With eBay listings on dot ca the buyer sees the counter UNDISCOUNTED rates provided by USPS. (As far as I know Canadian sellers cannot directly access USPS shipping unless they are in driving range of the US border.) The seller CAN include a discount for CP services which we do have access to(CP is NOT mentioned specifically in dot ca settings) but EACH service the discount varies.
With eBay listings on dot com the buyer is able to see the online or eBay negotiated DISCOUNTED rate for USPS/FedEx/UPS if a seller chooses.
The eBay rate for FEDEX (and UPS ) does NOT include a calculator.(Possibly does in the USA But unable to confirm). Leaving a seller to guesstimate if they use flat rate shipping.
Sellers in Canada have been asking for an expanded shipping calculator for years. It just never come to fruition. When it comes to shipping guessing should NOT be a a requirement.

Have you ever looked into shipping rate tables, Lotz? Seems like a fair bit of work to set up, but might be worth it in some circumstances.

Looked at it when it was first mentioned and ebay pushed for 5 minutes. It is poorly designed. Works okay if you are selling identical items like patterns, cds or post cards. Not so well if you sell randon one of a kind time items out of package. In a past life one of my main jobs was freight rate negotiations. It appears eBay has no one in that department. Which is strange because they have much more bargaining power compared to Joe or Judy seller. I can feel the pain of anyone who uses flat rate shipping as their go to. Especially with rate increases, taxes and fuel surcharges.
In recently reviewing the US page there is the option to omit AK and HI. No such luck for sellers that wanted to say eliminate the far north. I know that's been requested.

Hello Devon,
Note: Additional info in balance of posts in the attached discussion.
Could you please address the discrepancy noted here. eBay ca settings clearly show USPS as an option based on counter rates with Canadapost. USPS is not an option for Canadian sellers. You are given the option to apply a discount but you would have use 1 discount. Problem being the discount varies per service available. With seller settings on dot com a seller can use the counter rate, the discounted rate OR apply a discount. From a Canadian sellers perspective to offer fair shipping to a buyer we need to be able to show ACCURATE shipping. If a buyer sees something higher than that they just go elsewhere.
In followup to @ericsells75 question in the monthly discussion the Small Business Account he referred to is something a Canadian applies for with Canadapost to get the same level 1 discount eBay labels offers. The difference being is as a seller buys postage they can build up to the next level discount. Something that can't be done with eBay Labels. Linking a SSB (Solutions for Small Business account) with PayPal or Shippo is not a problem. Billing is transparent with a choice of payment options and is invoiced accordingly (seamlessly.) If a seller is using 2 services for creating postage when you include eBay Labels will take longer to get the level 2 discount etc.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies! Let me reach out to the Shipping Team for Canada to get some clarity on the shipping options being shown. And thank you for the details from the question asked in the monthly chat. I will get that over to the shipping team as well to get an answer as well.

Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies @ericsells75 ! I was able to get a response from our Shipping Team and here is what they said:
"The first ask is legitimate and we plan to add the missing feature to the Shipping Preferences page on eBay.ca as well. Context on why this feature hasn’t been available on .CA is that eBay Labels is still a relatively new product for Canada as it launched last year. Prior to that, this feature didn’t apply to Canada. Now that we have two carriers on the platform we’ll make sure sellers will be able to use the discounted rates on eBay.
As for the 2nd question about sellers adding their own CPC Small Business account numbers on eBay,
that eBay Labels is designed to provide a seamless and frictionless label printing experience for sellers without having to create or maintaining any additional accounts. For high volume sellers who already have their own CPC accounts and would like to use it, they can go to Shippo, which is eBay Canada’s official third-party label platform. It has a lot of the great features of eBay Labels including prefilling buyer information and adding tracking numbers to their eBay orders. To create a new account on Shippo use this link: https://goshippo.com/welcome/ebay_canada."

Hello,
At the time that eBay Labels was released the majority of current sellers ALREADY had a Solutions for Small Business Account. They were using in conjunction with either Shippo/CP and/or possibly PayPal Postage. The only advantages/differences with using eBay Labels vs the others were no accumulation of charges to build to next level and billing(Funds being removed from Payouts). (From many reports I have heard that is not always completed in a real time basis and comes without a physical billing trail.)
From a sellers perspective if a large quantity of sellers were/are using eBay labels because of volume there should be access to a greater discount. Not the same level EVERYONE gets for applying to an account for their own small business.
As a second issue sellers need access to a shipping calculator (for Fedex) so buyers can see accurate shipping amounts vs the seller guessing(Too many variables because premium services are based on distance with changing fuel surcharges/applicable tax). With the services provided with CP for a seller to offer discounts they can only use 1 discount. Each service has different discounts attached.
The standing explanation was the calculator amount shown to a buyer was counter rate. Only difference is the calculator includes the Expedited option (Canada) which is only (technically) available with a SSB accouunt. So that would be a conflict to counter rates explanation.

Please forward to the Canadian shipping department.
UPS Standard does display but shows 1 to 3 days under flat rate for anywhere in Canada. In confirming transit time to Maritimes actual delivery times for that service can be in excess of 11 calendar days(UPS website). Confirmed using Calgary to Fredericton NB. Fedex economy in drop down shows 1 to 3 days. Fedex ground shows 1 to 7 days. Fedex website shows approx 6 days for economy and 10 days for Fedex Ground. Buyers will be seeing 1 estimate but not physically receiving according to UPS/Fedex guarantees.
