Struck a deal with a buyer for 4 items over the last few days (they were items that didn't originally have best offer on them).
Normally what I do is if the person and I agree on a price of say $100, I go and revise the item, put best offer on it and set it to automagically accept anything greater than $99.99
All 4 lots I did this with over 3 days did not automagically accept the offer, I had to manually accept the offer.....
Seems to be another glitch, no big deal because the manual process works but it is extra work and time to complete the transaction this way....
Unless there's some new rule that says it has to be more than XX amount above the acceptance offer, ie a penny is too close?
Is it working for everyone else?

I wish I could offer some insight but my Best Offers over the past few days haven't met the auto-magic limit to accept themselves. But if they had, I wouldn't think it being merely a penny of difference would break the setting.
I would chalk it up to ebay tinkering.

I think it's just emblematic of eBay's usual dysfunctional SNAFU of a site. "Redecorating" is always so much more interesting for the over-heated brains of young digital designers than ensuring that important features work, first time, every time. Of course tinkering with other things also seems to break necessary features, as we've all seen. Who knows anymore?

At least they reduced the number of Best Offers available from ten to five a few weeks ago. Ten was outrageous. Five, I can live with. At least this is the case in my category.
