Hey fellow Ebay sellers, if you buy your postage on the Ebay site you are being over charged. The last 5 packages that I have shipped where "alot" more expensive to buy shipping on the Ebay site then it cost me to buy postage at the Canada Post office.
Don't get scammed, buy your shipping at the post office you will save lots of money!

I've already replied on your other thread but I will reply here too as this thread is more likely to be seen.
eBay labels give a level 1 small business discount so the regular price at the post office is normally higher so unless you have a higher level discount that they give you at the post office, I don't understand how it's possible that you would be charged more. Do you have a higher level discount?
Could you please give an example of a label that you purchased at the post office so that we can see why you paid less. Please provide the cost that you paid for the label, package weight, dimensions and postal code/zip code that it was going to. Also, which Canada Post service did you use?

No, there is no difference in price. Where were these last five parcels going and what service did you choose? Approximately how much was the charge on eBay Labels vs. what you paid at the post office?

For newbies unfamiliar with the Solutions for Small Business program, which gives discounts on many services.

Hi, I'm not new in any way, been selling on the site for twenty years. I'm not getting in to this as I have been warned by ebay about the post.

I've been selling on the platform for a long time as well. I am also a retail employee of Canada Post with many years experience. If you want to private message me with specific examples of what you're seeing I'd be happy to clarify whatever confusion it is that you're experiencing.
