It they are of any help, here is a list of my "form letters, responses" I use when I have problems... I find that by having pre written versions, it keeps me from writing what I feel like writing because like most of us, I'm upset when I get them too..... use whatever works for you!

Hi. You cannot expect anyone to have the same perspective of what "acceptable" means. Everyone can have different persepctive of what acceptable means. You have to include information, like deep scratches, heavy scratches, light scratches, surface scratches, only 1 small scratch, etc., etc.
I sell magazines, book, I always include tiny bend conrers, soft corners, scratches, etc, etc, etc., etc. Sometimes it is NEVER enough for anyone.
I would avoid to put in my listings "without tracking", it would just saying "welcome to scammers" to buy your items and then turn around saying they never recieved them!! You are encouraging scammers!

The comments made by everyone else are all good points.
As a fellow media seller I think you also need to come to grips with the fact that the items you are selling are just not in high demand. Many of your listings are for used, out-of-date sports video games which pretty much no one is interested in. Several of your other listings (the DVDs for example) are not 'popular' enough to warrant an auction, in my opinion. Price them competitively with others as a Buy It Now and let it ride until someone purchases it. Add a 'Best Offer' button if you feel that would be helpful. Obviously, this will be dependent on your situation, and everyone will have a differing opinion. Ask yourself: would you rather do an auction starting at 0.99 and potentially only sell the item for a dollar; or would you rather put it up as a BIN and sell it for 5-10 but have to wait a month? In my opinion I'd rather do the latter.
I'll also make the point that you may want to consider branching out to Amazon, which is great for media. The three DVD's you have listed on eBay for a dollar are all selling for between 10 and 20 on Amazon.ca, not factoring in the $3.49 shipping credit they give you. They have decent sales ranks as well.

As another relatively inexperienced seller, I've found the info in this thread to be very useful. Thanks to everyone who posted tips!
