How do I get calculated shipping for an item that is 4.2 Kg and Combine shipping from buyer invoice?

Hi their,

I Googled/searched other eBay community threads for answers but I did not really get the help I need.

I am trying to put dimensions in for a gaming console and games that weighs 4.290 Kg and measures 37 x 29 x 14 cm. But I get a fix error message that states the weight is exceeded and will not proceed to allow me to save and submit.

Also, I only see Canada post shipping options for when calculated shipping is selected on .ca and .com for shipping within Canada and to the US. How do I get other shipping options to show other than Canada Post for calculated shipping within Canada and to the US like same cost to all buyers option?
I always default use .ca.

Also, how do I calculate and combine shipping from a buyers requested invoice on eBay? I've been re-packing and putting in the dimensions on Canada Post ship online site.

Thank you for your time and help, much appreciated.

Well, you can start here:

https://www.canadapost-postescanada.ca/information/app/far/business/findARate?execution=e1s1

You can try upgrading from Tracked Packet to ExpresspostUSA.

Ok, it allowed me to put in the correct weight, just by chaging the US shipping to Xpresspost. Thank you.

FYI - The shipping calculator on .ca ONLY supports Canada Post.

As per note at bottom only reasonable options would be Expedited or Xpresspost to USA over 2.0 kg.

It did the same thing on .com as well.

@phoenixhobbies

I see your typo now. It should be 4 Kg...200 grams in the 2 boxes. Not 4.2

Yeah, max weight for tracked packet is 2 KG I believe.

I would use Expedited USA as opposed to Xpresspost USA though. Xpresspost is a more expensive option.

Ah, Ok. Just round the Kg number with no decimal?

In eBay  there are separate input boxes - 1 for kg and the other grams, so put 4 in the kg box and 200 in the grams box.

You may also wish to check out an alternative for shipping to the US.  Much cheaper for smaller items, and  usually a good saving for bigger ones as well.  Not sure if this is very close to you though.
