I do not mean to sound cynical but.... do you really expect eBay to act in such a way to lose millions in fees?

No, but the rights holders could.

This is awesome i hope alot of my competitors drop off the map ..
Most likely won't affect much for me though as far as competitors I actually stop buying DVD's because of the counterfeit factor stick with the present and future blu rays;)
Can't wait to see what this brings...

well read everything and looked at everything and i don't think this will affect much for Canadian buyers because I don't think they were heavily distributed in canada or atleast Ontario because i have never come across a supplier form that area .. I get about 90% of my stuff in Canada from the US ...
have not seen any listings disappear off ebay yet ..

Listing amount has increased by 3000 today ...

I buy a lot of DVD's on-line, including eBay. I couldn't help but notice that several sellers in Ontario offered the same dozen or so titles. They were primarily TV series at very low prices. I may well have even purchased from one or more of the counterfeiters but I haven't noticed an inferior quality in any of the ones I bought.

I have no sympathy for these crooks but I also have no sympathy for MPAA. I like the movies and people making them, but studios and distribution companies are same crooks as these crooks.

Apparently some of the DVDs manufactured in Oakville were sold on the Australian market.
