I was invisible now I'm non existent!

Well I had 10 sales in June, 13 in July, and so far nada in August, nothing.  Is everyone of vacation?   I usually have a couple of sales a week during the summer, but this is sad.  I do have a few watchers but that means nothing in the world of ebay.  I sure hope things pick up in Sept or ebay may become the next store closing/ghost towns

There are 5 full weekends this month. I sell well over the weekend. I expect an above average month.

Very funny attachment! Woman Very Happy  There are some pretty mean and determined-looking shoppers in that photo -- if looks could kill...wow.

I haven't given up on eBay yet, but I have to say that I've done more and put more effort into my store and products in the last 4 or 5 months than ever before, with less return than ever before.  Just inching along, keeping my head above water.  So strange.  All the things going on here over the past year or so have compelled me to hedge my bets by spreading my selling around, and I'm now making more from those avenues than here.  So sad.  I really used to have fun selling on eBay, now it mostly feels like tough work for little reward. And every year it gets more complicated and less rewarding.

I really do feel that the end of what I call the "boutique" seller on eBay is nigh.  Just as Wal-Mart pushed out interesting little local businesses everywhere, eBay is slowly and surely nudging us toward the door.

Maybe I'm just having a down day...sales have been meagre.  Robot Sad
