I never bring those packages into the postal outlet. Some of the ladies won’t accept an envelope that has to be pushed a little through the slot but if the same package is put in an outside mailbox, it is delivered without a problem.

Yes, I've only submitted 1 damage claim and it was approved. Filled out a very basic form online, did not have to attach photos, I received a cheque in the mail for the cost of the item plus shipping which was around $50 total.

As for the letter mail slot, it is very accurate. I actually brought a caliper with me to the post office to check and it was something like 20.05mm.
