I just did a random check of Canada Post tracking and Ebay's link to Canada Post tracking. Canada Post reported the item delivered on Apr. 12th, which must have happened or the customer would be screaming at this point. Ebay, clicking on the tracking (facilitated by my having put in the Canada Post tracking number when the item shipped) shows it being delivered May 10th. Obviously, there is a major disconnect going on, Ebay is wrong, Canada Post is right.

Not really a new thing but has gotten worse in the past year or so..........eBay's system is always way behind (it's operated by the always incompetent Pitney-Bowes).

Can you manually enter the delivery into eBay's report?

For the last year I've been telling my international buyers to watch either the CP updates or their own post offices, (preferrably their own PO) because of this......

I'm not aware of any way to do that.

The number for Canada Post tracking is placed with each transaction on eBay.
If I want to view Canada Post tracking , the number on eBay is copied and transferred to the Canada Post website...
The tracking shown on eBay should be the same as that shown on Canada Post...
But the tracking information on eBay is one ....BIG... BIG.. mess.... and never used by me.
The classic situation occured with the record of two books in the same parcel.... eBay tracking showed that one book was delivered to the post office on December 17 while the second book was delivered to the post office on December 18 ????????? !
eBay's two favourite words are .....in transit....2 weeks....4 weeks.... 10 weeks..... after the parcel was already delivered by Canada Post!!!
