I was on vacation out of the country from Dec 19 to Jan 5/19. Internet not available. I put on vacation settings, did not hide my listings and changed it to a 15 day handling period with an out of office reply that I would be mailing out on Jan 7/19.
I tried this because last year I went away on vacation for a week in Jan 2018, hid my listings. Well it took months to get my sales back to the way they were. So, I wanted to try this.
The results are I sold 25 CD's during this period. This is really good considering I didn't have any sales on and that there was a 15 day handling period. I emailed everyone yesterday that I got home and hopefully they noticed that I was on vacation and would be sending out their CD on Monday. I received several responses to my email that they had noticed that I was on vacation and there was no problems.
So would I do it again, you bet. If I was going away for longer than 2.5 weeks, I'd have to think about it.
