Lisitings not showing up in search?

Hey, I just started making listings for things I want to sell. When I try searching for it though, it doesn't even show up. No wonder there are no bids or anything. Can you help me figure out what I'm missing? My item numbers are

Every time you revise the listing before it has been indexed for the first time you go to the back of the bus in the indexing queue.

Stop doing this!

Did you notice at the end of the seller form the note that eBay may take up to 24 hours to "index" and make your listing visible?

And "bids".

Yeah.

EBay defaults naive newbies into auctions, but less than 15% of transactions are auctions.

Buyers don't like them. But they are eBay's branding, so they play new sellers for suckers by making auction the primary choice.

And the Simplified form is garbage and doesn't tell you much of what is available to you.

And then there is Search .

As a new seller you do get a little boost in Search, but some of the Best Match (another default) criteria are successful previous sales, number of items listed (you are restricted as a Buyer AND a Seller protection), number of similar  items already listed, paid Promoted Listings, keywords, pictures, Item Specifics, and others that are as much guessed at as known.

If you gave your Title, we'd be more likely to find your listing once indexed. That is allowed.

Selling here can be fun, and even lucrative, but you are also competing with those for whom it is a Real Job, with many years of experience. On the other hand, you are competing with other sellers, not with the site itself.

I just hope you have not made any rookie errors, like starting your auction at a price you would not be happy to sell for, guessing at the cost of shipping, selling a high value/high fraud item like sneaker, designer purses, games, or electronics without any sales experience.

Or dropshipping cheap trash from Asia.

If you have any questions, ask. And read the earlier questions that have already come up from newbies. @rocketscollectibles  has been asking lots of good questions for the past few months and you may find your own experience parallels his.

Oh and do some buying. Nothing teaches you how to sell online like seeing the way others do it, from the customer side.

I just did a generic search for "celestial storm booster box" and your listing showed up.

Seventh listing from the top (out of a total 47 results).

Your auction for 10 games lists eight titles and an empty case.

That's setting you up for a Not As Described (NAD) dispute.

And because gamers gonna game, your No Returns policy means the complaining buyer will keep all the games and you will be refunding.

You have up to 12 free pictures. Use them all.

Change the title before someone bids to Eight or Nine. Give all the titles of the games.

Throw away the empty box. Because "All games tested and work!" is an automatic NAD if the case is empty.

No Returns does NOT mean No Refunds.
