Lol, two nice Canadians and we both need your help with a transaction conundrum

So I just conducted a nice normal transaction with another Canadian, nothing shady, I promise. However we figured out how to get it to him by Christmas with Priority Post and in our rush, he paid for the item, chose the shipping I had available without realizing he could have chosen the Priority Post and now he is concerned about how to get the rest of the shipping fee to me, without compromising either of our accounts.

Is there an easy way to do this, safely and absolutely legitimately?

Yep you can send a PAYPAL invoice for the additional shipping to the email address you got from the original PAYPAL payment.

You do this from PAYPAL. They will see the invoice in their email, it won't be visible in eBayland (I mention this because I lost a repayment invoice from a buyer in south america because of a language barrier, I don't think they understood where to find the invoice)

Alternatively you could create a special ebay lot for the shipping amount for them to buy but it is a lot of extra work for the same end result but it does keep everything in eBayland.
