You pick a courier and enter a tracking number. But if you use a private courier and not UPS/Fedex, etc., you are screwed.

Tracking has three purposes.
Not sure what a 'private courier' is since both FedEx and UPS are private companies.
Do you have an outstanding Dispute underway and eBay will not accept the shipping company's Proof of Delivery?
By the way, proof of shipping in not acceptable in a dispute, only proof of delivery.
Since the best reason to choose a courier that is not supported by eBay is cheaper rates, please share the name of the courier. We are all constantly looking for a way to reduce that. Thanks in advance.

tracking score is only a USA region dashboard metric -- not currently used for any other region. Canada is part of "Global".

Courier is Polar Express, they are Russian. They work via Belgium Post. Costs are usually considerably lower than Canada Post or UPS/Fedex. Downside, they only have one location, in Toronto. I use them for all non-N. American shipping. However, if you get a deep discount from UPS (40% or so) it's probably competitive. 416-661-5775. Delivery record is perfect for me.
