Malware detected when viewing listings.

Getting tiresome having to listen to the random music playing while browsing my own listings.

In an effort to try and identify just what might be going on behind the scenes I installed Malwarebytes Premium.

The new program is running alongside IBM Rapport Trusteer and Windows Defender. I believe they were already blocking a lot of this nonsense but not the annoying music.

After an initial scan found no malware I browsed a few of my own listings. Thought I would take a few screenshots of my short browsing experience and share.

Note the Malwarebites warning at bottom right and Google security warning icon in the address bar

List of blocked sites. Some of these could be false warnings. This is a known troublemaker trying to install a chrome extension. This one is a clothing wholesaler, I assume it was an attempted redirect ... similar to the earlier serial redirect problemAnother fly-by attempt to install the incognitoresearch browser extension.

Did you install an ad blocker yet?

I don't see or hear anything you've ever claimed, and Eset Av hasn't detected a thing.
I stopped using Malwarebytes years ago, Windows Defender is disabled on my PC, and I loath heuristics and false positives. What is IBM Rapport Trustee?

Also, you should always uninstall previous anti-malware or antivirus before installing the new to avoid conflicts. They should never be run simultaneously.

Regardless, you are treating your concern with the wrong medicine. That is why your attempts toward a remedy have failed.

The only way malware can enter your system is if you let it in.
