Managed Payments is based on where you are located.
So until ebay fixes the issue of international sales, I suspect MP would attempt to send Canadian funds to your US bank.

That is why I am delaying signing up for MP. I need my US sales to go to my bank in the US.

Only eBay can answer this question....Until eBay can give the "right answer" to this question
With eBay Managed Payment on eBay Canada..... People who live in Canada and sell on eBay should register on eBay Canada, for Managed payments whether they sell in Canadian or US dollars.
So far..... all money from sales will flow into a Canadian dollar bank account...
eBay says that they are working on an option for Canadian sellers who sell in US dollars on eBay.com and then have all money transferred to a US dollar bank account.

This is total bs... the amt of money we are going to lose on currency conversion, when we sell and typically BUY in USD is going to be absurd.
Going to need a new way to sell other than ebay going forward. Too much money to be lost.
16 year account with 1200 feedback, down the drain over greed on eBays end.

Managed Payments only processes payments from your customer (through PP and credit cards) to your Canadian chequing account.
You cannot use MP to buy.
This is a stupid move on the part of eBay and should have been recognized earlier.
Like when they were negotiating with Ayden.
You can however use that Canadian bank account to also back your Paypal account and pay your suppliers from the same bank account.
The main point is to minimize the number of times your money is moved from loonies to USD, in order to pay the least amount of foreign exchange.
