My eBay.CA links to nonexistent "postage.ebay.CA"

Hi,

Steps to reproduce:
1) sell an item on eBay.CA
2) login to "My eBay"
3) follow left side links under "Sell"  to the "Sold" items page
4) in row for the sold item, expand the "More actions" dropdown and select "View order details"
5) at the "Order details" page, in the row for the sold item, from the "Available actions" column, select "Print shipping label"

Expected result: eBay bounce to Shippo, or some other method of eBay shipping
Actual result: links to a https://postage.ebay.CA... website, nonexistent DNS entry

Test case notes (links sanitized of PII):
3) My sold items page: http://my.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEbayBeta&CurrentPage=MyeBayNextSold&ssPageName=STRK:ME:LNLK:MESOX
4) Link to "print shipping label" (ie. Shippo bounce) directly from (3) sold items page: https://payments.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?PrintPostage&transactionid=8888888888888&ssPageName=STRK:MESO:PSHP&itemid=888888888888
5a) Print shipping label: https://postage.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?PrintPostageLabelRedirect&transactionid=8888888888888&sspagename=LPP_Redirect_VI&itemid=8888888888888

Editing the URL from (5a) to postage.ebay.COM brings up a "Purchase and print USPS postage" page populated with actual transaction details, however page complains of "Invalid Ship From postal code".

Cheers,
GregM

I'm a technodolt, so this is just a suggestion.

If working from eBay doesn't work, and it's probably a glitch, try working from the Paypal payment instead.

That's fine, the shipping link directly from the My eBay... Sold items page goes to Shippo as usual. This is just a bug report of a dead/invalid link, looks like a carryover from their .com site and since there's no other method of contact, this'll have to do for attempting to fix "glitches".

Wow... thanks for all the detail @gregmmmm! It looks like this isn't your first time bug testing wink

I haven't sold anything myself in the last couple of months [insert Game of Thrones "Shame... shame... shame" gif], so let me track down a colleague who has that can reproduce these steps and dig into who owns the redirect so that we can get it fixed.
