I have had 5 calls and 4 email exchanges with FedEx Canada but they do not believe that there is such an agreement! I still went on and registered, and filled out the form, then in the end I was not sure if the rate indicated included discount or not so I called FedEx again, asked them to go over it with me. I was lucky this time, one person did go over it, acknowledged that the form was properly filled out, but couldn't tell me if was going to get a discount. Her idea was that I should ship it for $204 as shown, and hope that I would get the discount once the item is delivered, that is if I was going to get the discount! Any help?? Thank you in advance.

I was sceptical at first too about the CC information. But I am not too sure why violetvillage is not receiving the rates. I would recommend creating the account first on fedex.ca and than enrolling the eBay discounts.
That is what I did and it worked for me.
About the CC, they require it because there is no other way to pay for your invoiced shipments. I am not too sure if they even accept cheques, so thats why FedEx requires the CC at first.
I put my CC on and I have not been charged any extra fees that I am unaware of.All my invoices are invoiced to me as I expect them.
A lot of FedEx shippers say "FedEx always tacks on hidden fees". If these people were more knowledgeable instead of chirping, it clearly states when you are making a shipment to check mark the "Residential address" box(Which is an extra $2-$3).
Some people say "Oh ya I paid $20 shipping than I get the invoice for $24.Where are these hidden fees coming from?). Well those aren't hidden fees people, you just misread a lot of information.
Maybe that isn't the case most of the time(Shippers for Express, get charged brokerage etc fees, which some people are also unaware of. So that could be the issue too), but I've mentioned this to other people on other discussion websites and they did not know about the residential fee.
All I am trying to say is, most of the time, repeat that again, most of the time there is no hidden fees, just have to read the fine print and there will be no surprises.
You probably already know this but I just wanted to get that out there.
Cheers!:)

I have also contacted them {FedEx and eBay) many times and spent many hours on the phone mostly on hold. I finally got a person who seem to know what hey were doing and he told me to hang on and the phone hung up, although he had my contact info he never got back to me. Calling FedEx back after allowing him a half hour to call me back I called again. This time I had to direct the FedEx service person to the web sight showing it existed as he never heard of it either. So he said he was going to put a memo out for everyone to get updated and would call me back Monday. It is now Thursday and no call. eBay and FedEx should be embarrassed about this agreement that eBay and FedEx staff know nothing about. I have never seen or had experienced such bad support and lack of knowledge.

Not surprised no one knows about it, no one was ever going to use it. it didn't apply to their cheapest service, so the "ebay discount" left the qualifying service more then the normal retail rate of the base service

I finally got it done. I use the ground service which is more or less by a dollar or so from Canada Post whether I ship eBay or personal, but they pick up and del. pretty quick. When I mail in BC I send ground and it is their next day,and no residence surcharge.

The problem is that whoever at FedEX knew nothing, when in fact, they are supposed to know! They need to "work" together to make it happening, otherwise they are screwed. You could file for false or misleading information that should shook whoever offered this deal!
