Tracked Packet USA
May 2 to June 5 with fuel surcharge of 16.75%
from Canada Post's online calculator
Weight | Counter Rate | SfSB level 1 discount |
up to 100g | 15.64 | $13.27 |
101-250g | 20.06 | $15.26 |
251-500g | 22.15 | $18.72 |
500-1000g | 25.58 | $23.40 |
1001-1500g | 28.94 | $26.99 |
1500-2000g | 32.27 | $30.28 |
June 6 to July 3 with fuel surcharge of 19.75%
estimated, may be off by a few cents
Weight | Counter Rate | SfSB level 1 discount |
up to 100g | 16.05 | $13.62 |
101-250g | 20.57 | $15.65 |
251-500g | 22.72 | $19.20 |
500-1000g | 26.24 | $24.00 |
1001-1500g | 29.69 | $27.69 |
1500-2000g | 33.10 | $31.06 |
ebay.ca calculated shipping should be using the counter rate.
In theory (since I don't use them), ebay.ca labels should be level 1.
If you show your SfSB (Solutions for Small Business) card and pay over the counter you will get a level 0 discount (somewhere between counter rate and level 1). Level 1 and up discounts assume you are buying the label online.
...
While fiddling with my spreadsheet I noticed that the USA tracked packet SfSB level 1 discount varies:
Weight | SfSB level 1 discount |
up to 100g | 15.25% |
101-250g | 24.00% |
251-500g | 15.50% |
500-1000g | 8.50% |
1001-1500g | 6.75% |
1500-2000g | 6.25% |

Thanks, but I am looking for the revised list of prices for packages for Canada, US, International. Working out the percentage each time is too much.

Hi if you are shipping within Canada and using flat rate boxes the rates for them are:
Small: Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Dimensions: 10 3/8 x 14 x 2 1/8 $18.49+tax
Medimum: Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Dimensions: 15 3/8 x 10 ¼ x 4 3/4 $23.49+tax
Large: Weight: 5kg / 11lbs Dimensions: 15 ¾ x 11 13/16 x 7 1/2 $29.95+tax
If you are not wanting to use flat rate boxes for Canada it depernds on the weight and size the box you use.
As far as U.S and international rates go, it all depends on the weight, dimensions of the box used and where you are shipping to. If you could provide more details I'd be happy to get you the rates.
Hope this helps.

It is the small package rates I am looking for, sorry, I should have mentioned that. All my packages come within a 1000 gram rate.

This might help a bit, although the fuel surcharge info will be out of date now:

Thank you! That was exactly what I needed. I guess we will have to increase our shipping rates.

Those are inches he's using. Just type in "Canada Post flat rate boxes" into Google and it should take you to the right page.
06-06-2022 07:21 AM
No those are in inches. Sorry about the confusion.

Canada Post went metric in 1974.
Any other measurement is guesswork and will lead to errors.
