This is a dog's breakfast. I hate it. Anyone else having a problem? I have wasted so much time on this.

Are you saying that you were just opted into business policies? If so, you can opt out.

I was opted in once a long time ago and it really was a mess so I opted out. There have been a few reports lately about eBay opting sellers in without notice,

I needed to put in combined shipping on .com and I couldn't, went to the help desk and they told me the only way was to set it up in business policies.

You could have set it up on .com for your .com listings in shipping preferences using flat rate or calculated shipping rules. The only difference from .ca is that discounts for US buyers would be domestic. The help desk was incorrect. Based on what I've read, they don't know a lot about how shipping works.

Hi I had it set up in shipping preferences but still didn't work. Only way I could do it on .com was to do it through business practices.

Ok. I don't know why it wouldn't work. Many sellers on .com do not use business policies and have combined shipping policies. Perhaps something has changed.
I have heard though that once bus. policies are set up properly, they work well.

I know that on .com you are forced to use the new listing method. You have to set up business policies. UGH.

I use business policies and love it but my stuff is a flat rate pricing. Took a little bit to get used to it but it was great once I had all my listings moved into like 5-7 different policies.
