Hi everyone,
Just started using ebay "Managed Payments" this week and I just had one question about the length of time it takes for a payment to actually show up in your bank account. Received my first payment through this new program, when I click on the "Payments" tab the order shows as "processed", than it changes to "sent", then lastly it shows as "completed". Checked my bank account after the "completed" notice was given by ebay but the payment has not shown up in my bank account. Is there a delay between ebay's "completed" notification and actually being able to see that money in your account? Thanks guys!

When a sale is made and the buyer pays the sale will show up in Payments with "processing" as the Status.
I guess then that "processing" basically means MP believes the credit card is valid although the transaction has not completed on the buyer/card end.
And we have some sort of eBay protection if the processing note cannot complete the payment. ( Or do we?)
So we can comfortably ship while the payment is processing.
My concern of the day becomes, what happens when the buyer's account is backed with a bank account and he is writing e-cheques? Does MP show a Hold until the e-check has cleared?
I realize that most people do back PP with a card, and of course they can also pay by card without having a PP account. I'm unclear about how ApplePay and GooglePay work.

I have been waiting since March 31st for my payout to show up in my bank account it still hasn't shown up and today's date is April 23rd 2021. Have called Ebay countless times' plus Ebay messages' keep coming to my email address that the money is on it's way. Ebay has been in business for years how come they cannot get a simple payout to bank account correct within (1-4) days??

It's my understanding that when it say processing, it has been approved by the payment source but perhaps @recped knows more about that.
From ebay help pages...
After a buyer pays for an item you sold, the funds minus applicable fees will show in your Processing funds, which means the order is confirmed and it's safe to go ahead and ship the item(s)
There is quite a bit more info HERE

I've read that in order to change or reenter your bank info, you need to contact customer service and they have to do it from their end.

When I transfer money from PayPal to my bank account it is in my bank account quickly. If I transfer the money from PayPal before 9:00 AM it is showing in my bank account by 4:30 PM the same day. And no I don't pay extra. I just use the standard withdrawl method. Can't see eBay being able to match that time frame.

I do the same thing. Leave funds from my eBay sales in my PayPal account and use them to purchase things from other sites. I know eBay would like us to only buy items from their site but they need to realize that it doesn't always work that way. The one thing I hate the most about managed payments is this option will be taken away from us and it is the main reason I won't be registering for it. Sorry but it is what it is. Since I was planning to retire later this year anyway it won't be much of a hardship for me. Have a feeling it will be heaven to have the first summer of in 15 years!

Yup. If a payment is rejected by the payment source, it shows up as an error on the buyer's end. The seller doesn't see anything.

Processing means the payment is being processed by Adyen, once the processing is done the status changes to Completed this can take anywhere from 12 - 36 hours*. Once the transaction shows Completed it becomes Available Funds which are sent to your bank on the next scheduled Payout Date.
I have yet to see a single report of a payment NOT going from processing to completed status.
* note that payments made on Friday, Saturday or Sunday usually don't change to Completed status until Monday morning.
"normal bank processing times", eBay says 1 - 3 days but eBay has absolutely no control over this, it can and probably is faster but all depends on your bank. My Payouts to Simplii are in my account the same day without fail, nothing special about my account so no reason that would not be true for anyone else. I suspect Tangerine is similar.
Here is a list of "top 5" no fee accounts:

While they may offer perks I would avoid the ones NOT owned by the big 5 if you want fast transfers.

Some banks do block deposits to accounts from unapproved sources.

My funds are sent once a week on Tuesday and are in the bank on Thursday morning. Maybe they hit late or overnight Wed., don't know, no need to check.

Canadian here. You have to wait. When it is sent you your bank, it is not instand. It will be the followowing day. For me, when I get paid, it is "processing" that day and stays processing until the following business day when it is sent. And then another business day to get the money. Honestly it's slower then Paypal. I always got my paypal money the next day, so this ads an extra day of waiting.

ZOMBIE THREAD FROM AUGUST 2020
The problem with zombie threads is that they can be misleading or have out of date information.
@Anonymous
The default transfer is weekly, on Tuesdays.
The bank may take a few days to accept the transfer, but we don't often here of that.
It is normal for a new seller to have his funds Held for up to 30 days. And then until the next Tuesday.
This disappears as the newbie proves himself.
We can also opt for monthly or daily transfers.
We can use Held funds to buy shipping labels.
Paypal fronted clients with their cleared payments, and allowed using that money to purchase goods with the fronted funds. MP is not willing to do that.
