Hi Devon. Quite a while ago the shipping team added some generic shipping options to the .com listing page specifically for Canadians. When we are filling out the info on the listing page it gives us a delivery time span so that we have a better idea of which option to use but the time given on the listing page does NOT carry over properly to the actual listing.
I have a 2 day handling time and the arrival dates shown below are what the buyer would see if they purchased my item today. We are shown on the listing page that if we use economy shipping from outside of Canada that the buyer is being shown an arrival time of 5-12 business days PLUS handling time but as you will see below they are being shown 3 business days plus 2 days handling time.
The listing page states that standard shipping from Canada is 4-9 business days + handling and that expedited shipping from Canada is 1-4 business days + handling.But on the listing the buyer is given a delivery time of 4-9 business days + handling for both standard and expedited shipping.
At the very least, the est. delivery times shown to sellers on the listing page should be the same as what the buyers sees so that the seller can match the delivery time to the service they are using.
This is what a buyer will see on my listing if they purchase from me today. (2 day handling) This was just a test listing . Could you please have the shipping team look at this. Thanks.
