Other Shippo users hitting a brick wall today?

Regardless of how many times I sync orders and refresh (a trick that has always worked in the past) my new orders won't show in the Shippo log to enable me to purchase and print postage from it. Super weird.

Of course, I could create a new order from scratch. Or use PayPal.

I wondered if this was widespread or just me.

This is stupid; there's something wrong with Shippo; I have no new orders showing after halfway through Dec 9.

tyler@ebay, can you look into what Shippo did on Dec 8/9 to wreck our ability yo use it? Might it have had something to do with getting ready for new postage rates?

Or does the problem lay with something ebay did about then?

Hi @momcqueen - glad to hear that you were able to get it sorted. Not sure why permissions got reset, but I'll get it reported up through our end!

Thanks valuestore! I was able to do this tonight, and it worked! Smiley Happy

Hi @momcqueen - following up here, I checked with our product teams and it seems like something happened to reset those permissions.

Re-enabling them will allow for full connection once more and get you back up to speed, though folks here already got that sorted. Thanks!

Re: Other Shippo users hitting a brick wall today?

Just had the same problem and your detailed instructions sorted it out for me, so thank you valuestore and mom queen for that.

Hope this bump helps others who have the same issue tonight see the thread.

Oops.  This is an edit because it didn't really work.  It did pull the orders in but not the addresses needed to crate the labels.

It synced orders but not the addresses?! Maybe log out, clear your cache and login again? That’s illogical behavior for shipping software.

I guess now it's my turn. Have a shipment to process but will not sync to Shippo. Tried all the suggestions and no luck. Have emailed so hopefully a solution tomorrow AM. Fingers crossed. Last time this is happened it fixed itself on its own in a few hours.

I was having this problem also, but this worked for me:
Settings -> E-commerce Channels -> Click Connect next to eBay -> Login -> Approve the link

It brought everything up to date for me again without having to select Sync Orders.

Re: Other Shippo users hitting a brick wall today?

Thanks. That seems to be the solution. Found it eventually and did the trick for me. Have passed it on to the fine folks at Shippo.  Their response time can be inconsistent at best, making things difficult for eBay sellers under the gun for getting packages processed.

Thank you -- that was the ticket!  But I'm still disgusted that I've spent nearly half an hour looking for a solution to the disconnect, and have now missed today's pickup cut-off time at my Post Office.

Weren't we promised by eBay that Shippo would be far better than Paypal ever was?  There should, at the very least, have been an announcement on eBay about this.  As usual, we have to figure out how to fix their  issues through our own noodling.  I think I'd be justified in passing this complaint along at the next Wednesday chat.

And by the way, could Shippo make the "login" spot any more minuscule?  Any smaller and I'd have a hard time even seeing it.

I've found that Shippo is remarkably easy to use.  Yes, this was/is a minor glitch but really no biggie.   The other minor problem I've had is understanding how they issue refunds because that could be simplified.......  BUT on the whole Shippo is doing a great job of issuing shipping labels and far superior to the CPO site and PP.

If you have changed your username on eBay, it disconnects at Shippo.
