PAYPAL email notifications are slllllooooooowwwwwwww again today...

Just went to PAYPAL to start manually printing out the payments and they aren't there....

So it appears it's an eBay talking to PAYPAL delay again.......

(eBay shows as paid, nothing showing in PAYPAL yet)

Sigh another day another adventure!

Perhaps my morning coffee wasn't processed enough...for me to be clear....

eBay shows the item as sold and paid for.

PAYPAL doesn't show the payment received yet.

Therefore no email has been received from PAYPAL yet because the funds haven't hit PAYPAL yet, assumption is once again there's a delay between the eBay payment happening and it going to PAYPAL.....this has happened before....

Sorry if my earlier notes were confusing, I should have checked PAYPAL before I put the first update in.....

Hmmmm. Okay. I've never had that happen. If anything, my PayPal might payment shows before eBay notes it's sold and paid. Odd.

The first one just showed up in PAYPAL moments ago, so there's about a 3 1/2 hour delay from the payment showing paid in eBay till it actually shows up in PAYPAL......

I got the 2nd one about the same time later, so I am all caught up now...

Based on my normal very slow sales rate, I probably won't know if they're caught up or not.....sounds like they are though, THX for posting!

The one sale I had earlier just before 2 PM ET showed up within a minute so the issue must have resolved itself or be account specific. I keep hoping it's the ebay side that is delayed and I have a whole bunch of sales I don't know about.

Woo hoo! I was going to type up a response saying it would be nice if someone would buy something to test the theory and "bing" I got an email for a sale!

PAYPAL payment was right after the eBay message so all looks good now.

Having said this it would be even better if people would buy stuff every hour or so for the next couple days just to make sure it stays ok...... I could use a really big boost in sales.... 😉

Anyone else not getting email notifications from paypal when payments are made?  Sold an item 22 minutes ago and no email from paypal even though ebay says it's paid.  Been awhile since this happened.

It is crickets here in terms of sales today....

I had a sale at 7:35 AM, payment came immediately then. (I sell on .COM primarily).

If perchance someone purchases something in the next while I will advise....

Finally got the email from paypal about the payment at 1:29 pm.  So that's close to three and a half hours delay.  Hopefully it won't be happening too often that it arrives late.
