Two sales overnight, one 9 hours ago, another 5 hours ago... both paid via PAYPAL, no email notifications yet, the payments are there so it looks like we're in the "time delay" phase again...... just so you know!

This is becoming a broken record with Paypal on a continual basis. I am getting very tired of it especially since we will be forced to use them.
They are also extremely slow with issuing refunds both to sellers and buyer if a bank or credit card is involved.
They also toasted my credit card and I had to order a new one.
Somebody or everybody needs to start lodging complaints with the bodies who will take notice as Paypal really could care less about our complaints about their pathetic service.

This isn't just for eBay sales. I run a retail website as well as selling on eBay and I have been getting my paypal notifications sometimes 12 hours after payment is made. Very frustrating.

Maybe it's fine now? I received notice of payment within minutes of purchase last night on the item I sold.

I hear you.
Two items sold in the past 24 hours (compared to probably ten a year ago to date but that is another story for a different thread) and I received notice of payment from paypal quickly with those BUT when I go to purchase and print the shipping labels via paypal this morning and into the afternoon, it all falls apart. Again.
I was quick to blame the announced, scheduled outage by Canada Post from overnight but, on closer examination, it's not that. My notice of shipment from Canada Post came right away. The email that we're supposed to get from paypal stating the label was purchased did not. Neither did paypal recognize that I had purchased that label at all; I had to go back and manually mark it shipped and upload tracking to paypal which I find to be highly irritating. Why is paypal suddenly unreliable? It had always been so good for me, so completely dependable. I don't like this new paypal at all. To whom can we even direct a complaint?

And then this random error message when I went to print a label for postage this morning. I had logged in from the link on the ebay Awaiting Shipment page. When I went to click on the item itself under the paypal summary, everything proceeded as normal.
Anyone else getting this kind of thing when they go to purchase postage? I've never seen this before.

Notifications are really slow again!
Do they have the same programmers as Ebay?

No, PayPal took the best (?) ones in the split with eBay.

Still have not got notification. Pretty pathetic service from Feepay

It's odd that this is only happening to some sellers. For every sale that I've had in the past few days, I have received a payment email from Paypal within a minute of the eBay ' you sold an item' email.
10-27-2015 01:30 PM
I paid for an item and am waiting for confirmation of the payment to a seller.
I am also still waiting for a refund to my credit card that a seller sent to Paypal on the 16th
I really don't think Paypal even knows how to run a financial business any more with all their issues and then stories you get when you phone. They are as big a joke as Ebay since the split

I have to agree it's alarming how it all went downhill so fast.
