Psilocybe cubensis spores

Is it ok to sell Psilocybe cubensis spore syringes on ebay.ca? There is no psilocybin in the spores so they are legal in Canada. I was thinking of buying prints and then turning them into syringes for sale on ebay.ca. I would ship to Canada only. Thanks!

There are many` things  that one has to know and do when selling "biologicals"

Where did they come from?

How were they prepared?

Here is a link that should be read.

What you may want to sell may be country, and hence site specific.

Then link to

and.... You may need a license to sell this in Canada...

Ranks right up there with the genius idea of selling research chemicals.

It is my suspicion you would be asking for trouble if you did but this is admittedly not my area of expertise.

You may want to come back on Wednesdays and ask at the Weekly Chat with ebay Canada employees.

I will say, however, that if you wish to be taken seriously as a seller on ebay, you need to build a feedback count by buying here first. It will inspire confidence in your would-be buyers and, more practically, give you an idea of how ebay works with shipping et cetera.

Thanks for the reponses but I need a definitive answer. I will call ebay. These syringes are totally legal. I already know the laws regarding them. I just need to learn ebay's policy.

I'm not speaking from a legal or policy-based standpoint; I mean from a personal risk-management point-of-view.

"These syringes are totally legal"

Unfortunately, "legal" has nothing to do with eBay policies.

For example, sleep apnea equipment is very legal, yet eBay will not allow you to list it.

Postage stamps from Myanmar are very legal.  Yet, eBay will not allow sellers to list them on eBay.ca or eBay.com

Postage stamps from 1940's Germany showing the face of Hitler are very legal, Yet eBay will not allow you to list them if you ship worldwide, including France.

Etc... etc...

Here is a list of prohibited and restricted items on eBay: http://pages.ebay.ca/help/policies/items-ov.html

If you want a definitive answer, do not waste your time with eBay customer service.  Ask your question on the Wednesday thread with eBay-Canada staff:
