Seller Dashboard - Frustrating

Am I missing something, in tracking my Seller dashboard I have never had such inconsistent numbers, I am now down to 2.1% which takes me out of the Top rated seller range, however I have never had any of the issues brought to my attention, how can I find out specifically where I am missing it??

These are my numbers but none have been presented or forwarded to me.

Any suggestions?

Have you downloaded your report to see the transaction numbers that match up with the defects?  In the popup in your dashboard, click on download a report and then 'expand'.

With your volume,(400 or more transactions in the last 3 months) you are probably only rated on defects received in the last 3 months so those defects that happened before May 1 should not affect you in the August 20th review which is when the new defect system starts.

It is insane because I felt that the numbers set by eBay is FALSE.   I even see for items not received which is hogwash as I never got any buyers asking "where are my items" at all for a year and I am seeing them in my DSRs the last 3 months.  That is totally hogwash and untrue and FALSE!!

Unless they count them when my buyers asked me when did I mailed them which happened only 2 times, do they put them as defect???  If so, then we all are in TROUBLE for sure.

And it is bad enough that the buyers have NO patience for the mail service to do their jobs and that it is NOW becoming a TREND that the mail service is becoming more slower and slower than ever unless they pay for the fastest mail service like XpressPost, FedEX or UPS!!

It is sad that eBay has worked so HARD to find ways to continue to make our lives as sellers hell and causing more grief for us than every.  We don't need.  We all are big girls and boys and we knew what we are doing and don't need eBay to 'CONTROL' our lives and tell us how to RUN our businesses!!

To have DSRs in the first place is a conspiracy on their part to make our lives hell and also it is a JOKE to have it in the first place!! eBay KNEW that we CANNOT satisfy our buyers no matter what.

I am sure that some of buyers are "FOXY" trying to "scam" us with those whiny complaints like that, so they can keep their items for FREE and get the refunds at the same time which often eBay allows them to!!!!  It is like shoplifting.     To "shoplift" is not acceptable at any stores at any time, so why not the same on eBay???!!  eBay, are you listening???!!

eBay needs to focus on buyers for a change instead on sellers all the time.  I am totally fed up and hate it when eBay send us another Sellers Updates which happened too often and when they do, it is insane as it is 19 pages, way too long, 1-2 pages would be sufficient!!  eBay don't need to go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on!!   Focus on buyers when they become unpaid item bidders and penalize them for that.  But no they worry about buyers even unpaid item bidders already strike on their files, they want us to give them chances.  NO fricking way!!

Once unpaid item, they are done and are on my block lsit forever.  I don't need any more undue stress and hassle at any time.  It is bad enough then they came back with new id usernames and start all over the same thing which happened to me with 6 unapid item bidders in the past.  6 of them came up with 6 new names, all 6 different persons and address, states and came up with 6 new id usernames!!  I had fits and called eBay and blasted them about them for weeks and finally all of them are suspended but why do we have to put up with s**t in the first place but for 6 times with each 6 persons??

It gets to the point I get nervous when I see any new bidders making bids on my auctions and I had to go through the routine to get the "contact information" and see who they are and not make sure they are not the same pests.  I even had some of them asking me why I did that and I told them it is just a routine to protect myself to avoid having the possible same persons and they forgive me for that.  But who knew I can **bleep** one of them off and they can give me low DSRs for that or even neutral or negative feedback!!  What a hassle eBay is causing us!!  Sheesh!!

That is the exact report I was hoping for - what an eye opener (not a good one either)

one neg left accidentally,  buyer changed to positive but still shows as a neg on report

one neg left for a transaction that does not exist

4 x cases opened for item description - ALL inquiries 1x opened for damage in shipping

5 x item not received 3 of which were inquiries of Hi, where is my stuff, it has been 4 days??

1 x item not received of a transaction that does not exist

I can see how this is going to be a nightmare

I'm thinking a lot like PJ. You must have been hit with a cluster. It happens. Unless you run all sorts of reports, phone and complain, etc, you are not going to know what it is.

Your volume will make up for it and they will drop off after three months.
