Seller Hub: what happened to all my customization? It's all back to what it was before I made changes

I KNOW! I'm so angry: the format of the Sales Record page was also changed to remove all the fields where a seller could add their own data which MAKES ME FURIOUS. This was the only useful aspect of selling on ebay: it's where I added details about true postage costs and shipping weight and dimensions, customs declarations and it would all be downloadable with the File Management Centre as part of one neat package AND NOW IT'S GONE.
Yes, I'm angry enough to use all caps.

I certainly hope that includes the Sales Record page because I am hopping mad about that.

I'm LOL here... kinda... you did not customise your page and got an error message whereas I did customise and NEVER saw an error message.

I usually only work on .com, but I did check on .ca and in the sales record there is a big button that reads 'Print Shipping Label' once an order is paid, with a drop down arrow to the right of the text, near the top where you can chose actions, like adding a personal note, adding shipping info, etc.
I know this isn't as nice as the full page layout before, having to actually choose an action from a stupid menu list. Wondering if that would give you the functionality you need?

Most likely depends on when the customization was done..
No problem with my customization which was done in early July....
----------------------------------------
and my Turbolister on eBay died in August 2014..... and that is when i started using Auctiva...
No problem ... All listings prepared since 2014 are in my files on Auctiva.....
Auctiva is also very easy to use to prepare listings

Standard operating procedure here ... kind of like the dog barking, yipping chasing the chipmunk, just about ready to chomp down on the little teaser then poofff ... and the chase is on all over again!

The order of the panes is out of whack to how I had mine arranged but it hasn't totally reverted to default. Oddly, only one of the two Community shortcuts I added remains, the other has disappeared.
The sales record format change was kind of surprising, that was one little nook that hadn't been fooled with for a very long time. After a bit of exploring I've come to the conclusion that the new format is an improvement over the old one. I like ...
This change may be related to the imminent arrival of Managed Payments.

Those Notes are the same notes we always had access to add to the surface of a listing, but they do not carry into a format which is exportable on printing or through the File Management Centre. That's the part that renders them useless to me.
I needed those two sections that allowed seller-initiated custom data to be added to the Sales Record. One under notes to Buyer (packing slip) and the other under seller's see-only section only.
The email of the buyer was also always at the top of the page. It was the first thing under Sales Record.

I agree that all of the info found in the new format was available in the old. Was a little surprised to see the email address still included though.
Everyone has a record keeping method that works for them. For myself, I've seldom made use of the notes section except on rare occasions when shipping to a different address, even in those instances I've never felt a need to save the ebay record beyond the 90 days. Personally, I've always preferred to download that information from PayPal. Guess I'll have to change my ways once Managed Payments launches.
I have noticed that there is a "Download Report" link at the top right of any Orders list page that is not functional, when clicked upon a dialog box opens containing text that reads;
"We're working on an improved solution for downloading orders.

Thank you.
Actually, I must provide an update on this with my hat in my hands.
Tyler put me in touch with the person responsible for the change and we had an in-depth discussion over the phone earlier this evening about Seller Hub (which I've liked from the start) and the missing data fields on the Sales Record (which got my knickers twisted) and I am assured of a few things:
(a) Someone like David (to whom I spoke today) really is listening to what sellers have to say about the changes ebay makes to things;
(b) Human people actually have to read the angry emails that get sent to ebay via the Comments section of the Seller Hub page like the one that I whipped off when I was at the height of my fury over it for which I am not just a little embarrassed now;
(c) It's possible for a seller to return to the old Sales Record if they need to until it's no longer possible for anyone to do that, and
(d) I was one of only a very small percentage of sellers who used those fields for anything, never mind everything like I did for six year.
So. There you have it.
I'm still left to question, though, if virtually no other sellers used those fields for anything, where on earth do you all keep your data on transactions for taxes? I used those fields to: store weight and size of boxes shipped; quality and value of free gift with purchase; actual postage cost; taxes paid on postage cost; all customs documentation for international orders, and other pertinent details about the buyer or anything else that might be important. Do you create separate spreadsheets? Or am I the only person claiming their ebay sales as income? That cannot be the case.
