Selling and trying to get blood from a stone.

Sometimes I don't get why is it so hard to not buy/bid on something you don't want or don't pay for on ebay. It seems endless on items I try to sell. I know this post sounds a little ranty but I keep getting buyers who either ghost me or just simply don't pay.

At this point if I sniff something not right I'm just going to cancel the sale and repost until someone actually pays for it immediately.

Everybody else will just go on my ever growing block list.

Selling and trying to get blood from a stone.

Two suggestions and a plea.

Go to your Seller Preferences/Buyer Requirements and enable a Block against bidders who have Strikes for non-payment. They will not even be able to bid on your items.

Don't use Auctions at all, since with less than 15% of listings Auctions make up well over 60% of Unpaid Item Disputes.

And please don't cancel those transactions, allowing the buyer to walk free but still leave you feedback.

Instead file the Unpaid Item Disputes.

Not only will some slow payers cough up, but those who get the UID Strike will now be Blocked from bidding with every seller who has blocked deadbeats.

And the dead beat can't leave feedback.

And you get your Final Value Fees back.

Selling and trying to get blood from a stone.

You can also add Immediate Payment Required to any Fixed Price listing.

The item stays active for 30 days or until some one actually pays.
