Shippo and eBay are sometimes a few cents difference but in general they are all the same as if you purchased from CP online.
Some people prefer Shippo because it does build up your small business levels.
Some feel Shippo is more accurate. I usually check both sites as ebays US rates were wrong for a while but I think that they were actually a few cents cheaper today.
EBay labels take the money out of your pending payments, Shippo does not. I use PP to pay for Shippo but it might be possible to use a credit card.
I hate having to type in all of the buyers info on CPs SnapShip so I only use it if absolutely necessary.

Just saw your discussion post. That was to a very old discussion so information is not entirely current. The advantages right now are that with ebay labels you have access to majorly discounted rates when compared to Shippo. eBay labels also gives you access to Expedited lite in Canada for up to 200 grams and a very good discount with USA tracked. At your discretion in settings you can turn on so buyers can see the discounted rate when using calculated shipping. Option link attached. With ebay labels charges are removed from your selling fees. With shippo via a CC and you only have access to level 1 discounts but you can attach a Solutions for Small Business account number if your volume increases.

PS. From a personal perspective if you are selling items of various sizes and weights you are most often best to use Calculated vs Flat Rate. That opinion will vary.
