I'm getting lower estimates on Shippo/Netparcel domestic CP expedited labels when compared to ebay labels. I had one charge lower than the estimated amount though, so perhaps ebay estimates are just not reflecting actual label costs again?
On a CP Expedited parcel today:
ebay estimate: $20.80
Shippo/Netparcel: $18.74
From last week:
ebay estimate was: $21.88 (only charged $19.70 however)
ebay estimate today: $21.88
Shippo today: $18.43
From April 21:
ebay today estimate: $21.92 (was only $19.98 on April 21)
Shippo label today: CA$19.73

I have lower cost on Canada Post International Shipping too on Shippo.
Right now, I think the only interesting labels to buy on eBay is shipping to the USA. Otherwise, Shippo is very interesting.

"I'm getting lower estimates on Shippo/Netparcel domestic CP expedited labels when compared to ebay labels"
Most likely due to the fact that the Canada Post Expedited Parcel promo(a promo that is not associated with eBay), was extended to latter part of June...

Yes, this has been the case for a while now. I've been purchasing all my Canada Post (domestic) Expedited Parcel labels on NetParcel (Shippo has the exact same rates as well, but I find NetParcel easier to use as I can pay with PayPal). They have better rates than eBay Labels.
Obviously if it can qualify for Expedited Lite I still go with eBay. And eBay also has the highest discounts on Tracked Packet-USA.

We sellers can wish for many things on eBay or any selling site for that matter, but that does not mean that it is doable. It may not be an option for eBay to integrate with other couriers .... those couriers must be willing to do so.... Stallion and/or similar type couriers havie to have the desire/the want/the need/the willingness to integrate with eBay. Not all shipping companies want to integrate with eBay and/or other selling sites. It has to be a mutual agreement with both sides providing the necessary tools and accessibility to carry out that integration process.

I've never had need nor had to resort to using a courier shipping method as Canada Post works just fine for my needs...

As a casual/infrequent seller, sales are few and far between at the best of times and this is slow time for me until late summer, so I shall take it day by day...During the holiday CP strike, Purolator was available and I did utilize Purolator through netParcel via PayPal for USA shipments...was a little more expensive than CP, but doable. I didn't have any Canadian orders during the strike, but Purolator had some discounts for within Canada Shipping. However, I have no experience with any other shipping companies, so I really don't know what the costs are for shipping with the likes of UPS,etc... Will have to see what happens this time round, but at this point in time, I have no plans to pause my listings. During the holiday strike I did extend the handling time and used "Time Away" for that week of Christmas to New Years" as I was out of province for that period. If necessary, I will utilize "Time Away" as a last resort.
