I am just wondering whether everyone has signed up for managed payments? Is it already working. I have hesitated as my money goes into a US bank account and wonder how that is going to work? What is the cut off day to sign up and what happens when that day comes around?

silverpinups, register now for managed payments
As eBay helps its sellers prepare for managed payments, we recognize that you may sell to the US or on the US site directly and acknowledge that you likely have questions regarding how it will work with your business. This is an important and unique distinction for some businesses, and our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible. If your business does a high volume of trade with the US we encourage you to complete registration. Rest assured that we will only activate your account once your business needs meet the features that are available with managed payments.

Hi silverpinups,
Your account is scheduled to be enabled for managed payments in late July, and you must register by July 15th. You only have a week left to register.
If you sell to the US or on the US site directly, we understand that you may want to get paid out in other currencies. We’re working on a solution for this and our goal is to make this transition as seamless as possible. We recommend that you register now to ensure that your information is validated. As a reminder, we will only activate your account for managed payments once the available features match your business needs.
So, they've sent you an ultimatum that you must register "now" then in the their next breath admit MP does not currently meet your needs so they won't be activating your account until some future date. Why the h@@@ must you register now!!

Well the way I look at it is they want you locked in. The more sellers that register now even though their accounts might not be activated until a later date is that eBay won't have to chase after these sellers later.
It's like managing a herd of cattle. The more they brand now the less they have to worry about later....
