A couple of weeks ago, my account got hacked. I noticed that there was a listing that was not mine listed under my name. I contacted ebay and they refunded the listing charge and told me to change my passwords for ebay, email and paypal. I also noticed that they changed the check box to be off for email notification of new listings.
I noticed that I have not received an order for the past 1 1/2 weeks, which was a bit odd. I went to my listing page today and checked them. Everything seemed fine and I also added a few more. When I did a search for my products (which I do on a regular basis), none of my listings are showing up i the search.
Instead, my items were showing up under a different seller, some seller from Israel. They are using my images and text, but different prices.
That alone was upsetting, but my listings not showing up at all when I do keyword searches is really upsetting.
I was on the phone with ebay for over 1 hour and transferred 4 times. No one could help me other than to submit a notice of claimed infringement. They have no idea why my listings are blocked from the search. They tried to say that I made some changes so my listings may not show for 24 hours. Granted, I did list a few new, but most of the others have been up since October, so there is no excuse.
Has anyone else had this happen? Any advice?
