Take it nice and easy Big Guy - you can't please everyone all the time - life happens and sometimes it gets in the way of our plans.

Relax and enjoy the season..

Re: What a bad day awwwww booooo

Ya it was a rough month but I lost my TRS status before and had it back the following month... Fingers Crossed...

I was hoping to get some time off this season as it has been almost 2 years and I have only had 3-5 days off but yet again for the fourth year in a row my Actual job as a mill operator has me working

x-mas so I just left my store open .... But I am closing for the 25th and reopening 26th so I can enjoy my 1 night with my daughter sense she has been at gramma 's for a week..

Off topic but just a thought did any other man that had a daughter lose his balls that day and never find them again .. I think I cried once in 28 years then I had m,y daughter and now funny movies make me weep like a little girl .. My wife put my daughter on the phone last night and I haven't seen her for 8 days now and she got on and scream DADAADADADA and then said love you and well I told My wife I can't talk to her until she gets home because it made me wanna cry and sure enough just like Johnny depp in Cry baby the tear rolled down the one cheek LMAO...

Merry Christmas to all I hope my wife put balls in my stalking LMAO

Re: What a bad day awwwww booooo

You are getting emotional because you are stressed out. Five hours a night sleep is not enough. Working a regular job and selling a lot on eBay is taking its toll. Find a happy balance somehow.

You have to start thinking about seeing your daughter grow up and keeping your marriage strong.

You are going to end up doing your job, your eBay business and your family life poorly.

Be aware of this and do something about it. A very important New Years resolution for you to consider.

Been there and if I had to do it over again, I would have slowed down 30 years ago and lived a bit more than worked so hard. Absolutely no one in business remembers that work effort years ago but my family and I always remembers me not being there ...

Re: What a bad day awwwww booooo

Yes I have been considering this for awhile now . I never sleep because it is when I work on my store so that I can spend time with my wife and kid before they go to bed then I work but it has taken it's toll 14hr work days then 3 hrs with my family then 1-3 hrs of work then bed and do it all over again  ...

My wife hates her job and I make about triple she does just off the business so were talking about her taking over the business and quiting her job which would be a win win ... More money in our pockets and much more time as a family ...

POCO you have never given one piece of bad advice thanks and have a Merry Christmas

Re: What a bad day awwwww booooo

Oooh, I'm feeling for you big-time as I'm reading the threads. Kudos to you for a) working so hard for your family and b) being a man that is sensitive enough to cry and to be able to share that.

Yes, as everyone said, you HAVE to slow it down for the sake of your beautiful family - and this is coming from someone who barely has one.

You HAVE to take more time over the Holidays......and a little (or big) gift to your wife isn't as good as time.......but might help?!  How about a diamond?;-)  Not for Christmas.....Just Because.

Re: What a bad day awwwww booooo

When I still had a real job, little over three years ago, I was working 16-18 hour days, everyday. I crashed and burned.

I "gracefully" exited my full time gov't union year and a half to retirment job with a lot of name calling and fingerpointing. Did I say "gracefully"? I am somewhat of a local legend for what I did.

What I discovered about myself, my rock bottom, on a scale of 1-10, is about a five. Managed to hold myself together and moved on. I shed a lot of burdens. Tossed just about everything except, oddly, eBay.

Met the most amazing woman. Life just keeps getting better since I threw it all away. What I have not thrown away will be gone in the next five months.

Life is a lot different up here on the shores of Hudson Bay. Remind me, I should leave some treats out for the fox for tonight.
