Who's the adult here?

After a mildly heated discussion in this board. I decide to check out the items of one of the other posters. I saw an item of interest and sent two message to get shipping charges to my house. I then received a reply that this is not only childish and un businesslike. But it begs the question, does this violate any eBay policy?

Re: Who's the adult here?

Well, I kinda understand what you are saying. However, all I did was try to buy something from someone who was giving me advise on how to treat the buyer, as they are king.

Re: Who's the adult here?

That is not what the seller perceived. The seller viewed your contacting them, after a heated discussion, as a threat and an attack.

Leave them alone.

"all I did was try to buy something from someone who was giving me advise on how to treat the buyer"

I would not suggest a career in sales.

Well, I hope reads that, as he is one of the "regulars" here. I also would have like to see him have the balls to answer to this. Not like, however.

Re: Who's the adult here?

Well, If someone contacted me after a hated discussion and wanted to buyt soemthing, i would think they were setting me up for "it never arrived" claim. i cant blame them for telling you to leave them alone. sounds like im not the only one voicing this opinion. get over it. move on.

So over it. eBay has protection against such things. Mail can be tracked. Was really trying to buy something that peaked my interest. My you made just typo, but it was heated. No hate involved, btw. Some people need to grow up and allow other people to voice their opinions. Even if they are different that the norm. Keep up the herd mentality!!!

P.s. if that was my intention, I could have done it through an alternate username! But I didn't!

How do you get a grudge out of all of this?

Re: Who's the adult here?

if you cant let it go and move on, then its a grudge. you might not like him and vice versa, but you dont have to talk. i bet hes not losing sleep over this. weve all had "bad" experiences on ebay. ive blocked alot of people and im sure im blocked by someone somewhere. dont care.

you posted this as you were obv "irked" by it. fair enough. but ever heard of the term pick your battles? this is one i wouldnt battle over, but each to their own.

This is called a discussion board. So I discuss. If you don't like it or approve. Move on to the next one. I am free to talk about this all day long, if I so choose!

Funny thing is, everyone is trying to tell me how to treat a certain kind of buyer and they then turn around and get nasty. Great credibility. Keep it up! Those rose colored glasses need a little cleaning!!!
