can't sign in, and can't attach photos when sending a message to a buyer

- I couldn't attach photos when I was trying to send a message to a buyer. I get the popup message with "google refused to connect" when I try to upload a photo to a message. 

- Cleaned the cookies and cache on firefox, and now I can't even sign in with firefox.

- Switched to Chrome, and was able to sign in, but I still can't upoad photos when I compose a meassage to a buyer. I'm getting the same popup message, "google refused to connect" 

What's happening here?

EDIT - I tried sending a message without photos, but I couldn't send the message because of the same popup.
