I've noticed today that eBay is playing around with the buyer options on the seller listing page.
My eBay listing page only has Save this Seller, Contact Seller and Visit Store.
See other items has disappeared.
Anyone else seeing this?

eBay used to announce these changes and every time they did sellers would come here and go on and on and on about it ad nauseam. Every little eBay change was treated like some major policy change that would alter the course of the world.
Now they're much smarter about it and slowly phase out features they want to get rid of or change and the changes barely cause a blip.
I can't be the only one who's noticed that they're also phasing out the ability to view FB left by others.
It's all but gone now. God Riddance!
I'm also very suspicious that they're in the process of getting rid of FB altogether.

"I can't be the only one who's noticed that they're also phasing out the ability to view FB left by others."
How so? I haven't noticed a change to the desktop version. The app or mobile view has always been difficult to navigate.

Ebay needs to leave the " see other items" feature alone, it is so much easier to navigate, and has been used be customers for years.. Ebay stop dinking with things that don't require fixing, or updating.. The see other items has it's own use, and is used by many ,many people..

I'd be interested to know what your views are on feedback removal?

IMO ................... eBay has watered FB down so much during the past few years that I'm not sure that keeping it around or not matters very much any longer.

I feel very strongly that eBay should no longer allow anyone to view a buyer's FB left for others.
As long as this can be viewed FB will be an indication of how much self-control a buyer has to resist leaving deserved NFB.
Experienced buyers and those who buy for re-sale know better than to leave NFB because they know they will be judged for it.
Doing away with FB altogether was once my preference but over time I've come to see that a huge number of sellers are kept under control by the threat of NFB.

I cannot agree with you there.
As I buyer, I don't hesitate to leave Negative feedback when it is deserved. Any seller frightened by that direct honesty is not a seller with which I want to deal. So, no loss. If they don't want my business, I don't want to give them my money.
I don't think ebay needs to protect problem buyers any more than they already do.
Also, what makes you think this is coming next?

Therefore, if another member's Feedback Left for Others is hidden, so should be Feedback Received as a Buyer or Seller. Who needs Feedback as a Buyer anyway? Why then have Feedback as a Seller? Why feedback comments and ratings at all?
Of course, it's not like I so much care about this issue. Whatever ebay decides to do about it if in fact it's on the decision-block, it's not going to be something that keeps me up at night.
Rank users by number of life-time completed transactions and leave it at that.

ebay need to leave this one alone, i realize they are going to streamline selling categories, but by just have visit store, it is way too much extra work to find what i am looking for, where with see other items i am where i want to be in 2 clicks, someone really needs to rethink this decision..

Yes I agree, but eBay won't.... Adapting workarounds seems to be the consistent way of approaching changes that eBay implements.

is it just a coincidence that the last 4 days i have had very few sales, and my page views are way down as well..

It could be a combination of things.... a looming trade war, adapting to changes on eBay, or unstable markets where people are spending less to name a few....
The Trump Effect is at the root of all this instability (except the eBay thing).
As I said on another thread my year is way down from previous years.
I have plenty of views, I'm lacking in sales.

Me too.

I agree. It seems to me that eBay is discourage any buyers to check our items which is not a very good idea!! The buyers will NOT go through 5,000 items to check out!! With See other items, they can type the item they want to. eBay is becoming more and more and more insane now. Sheesh!!

I agree too. On my buying account at least half but likely 75% of my purchases come from "see other items". If only the store link is there I simply don't bother looking.
