eBay shows wrong time zone for tracking information

I have my account set to show Eastern time, currently Eastern Daylight Time (Toronto, New York City, etc.). However, when I click on Tracking for an item that I've shipped, the time shows in some other unspecified time zone.

For example, today a post office clerk scanned my package at 2:41 p.m. EDT. But, when I look at tracking here on eBay, it says "Item accepted at the Post Office" at 7:41pm. That's not EDT, and it's not UTC (formerly known as GMT), because UTC would be 6:41 p.m.

Anyone know why eBay displays tracking as five hours later than my chosen EDT time zone?

I experienced the same and also live in EST zone (Hamilton, Ontario). When attempting to correct the issue I read that servers are located in PST which is 3 hours behind us, however the time shown is also incorrect for PST. The tracking updates displayed are 5 hours ahead of us, which (now that we have exited Daylight Savings Time) is GMT.
