everything is going pretty good here on ebay -- thats really weird

i have had a lot of complaining done about ebay in the last year or so --- see my many posts for reference --- most are ebay fault  but some mine for getting into this setup selling -- but latly last 2 months or so -- every thing is going pretty good sales are up no shipping problems - it all happened when i put free shipping on all my items and really saled my store  meaning everything is cleared for discount  and out the door -- the only thing or bone i have with ebay is they keep losing several of my listings every week or so -- i will have to do a major inventory check--- product against listing type thing in the fall to see where i really stand right now its about 50 items are missing so out of 1800 listings thats not to bad  iam finally making dent in my visa bill which has carried me through all the bad times over the last  year and a  some - store fees selling fees shipping  supply extras and  my big one --storage  locker fees -- so happy iam on the right track to get back to reasonable debt load -- maybe i will have a good xmas after all ---  just wanted to let everyone know sometimes almost everything goes right

I'm not really in the market for most of what you're selling right now, @dobo5250, but I do have to admit that for whatever reason, the free shipping makes them more attractive to me.

another week and one half and things are still the same-- pretty good -- did try to reduce my sale price for a couple days and that turned in a complete zero sales  couple of days so - have to go back to  the giving things away rate and find more creative (cheaper ways to reduce costs ) the shoppers i use for the post office has kindly been giving any pick of old boxes they have in the back -- surprising what a timmy will do to the right person -i now  just have to reduce the cost of my  shipping tape-- now --looking into that -- my wish list is  that would allow you  to have the same discounts that they give to online ebay shipping to give it to us old school types who like to use the post office for what it was intended for-- even with my business card those online ebay specials are hard to beat ---- i will consider those if things get really desperate money wise-- good luck  to all ---these sept fall sales  hope they continue

You can buy older mint stamps here on eBay at a discount. I couldn't possibly tell you where, of course. We're not allowed to advertise our listings on the Boards.

And while it takes a bit longer than printing out a label at home, parcels can be paid with stamps and still sent as Regular or Tracked- you just have to have the clerk make up the label for you.

And if your shipment, like the Pokemon items, is under 500gr and 2cm, domestically you can ship by LetterRates, with no tracking or add Registered for $10.75. This is a deal for some National parcels or for shipping to the Territories.

You already have a Solutions for Small Business account which gives you many of the same discounts as eBay, right?

thanks for the reminders on posttage i do use stamps bought on ebay to ship smaller items and it helps though my last expereience witha stamp seller was not very good most are really good and i am thnakful -- the last one was a case of me winning 4 auctions  from the same person at the same time and being charged shipping on each one even  though they come from same person same day same package  not a big sin but combined shipping when you don't offer shipping free is the respected norm with most stamp sellers   so i got dinged more for shipping than i did for the items i won --oh well - the comments section will reflect that 

 but i need to let water get off my back sort of thing -- with things going not bad this month iam ahead of my costs by about 28 % so aim happey waiting for that shoe to drop - with ebay so far this month -- only small things go wrong like sale listings i have to repeat the proceedure about three times over two days to get the items to go on sale they just don't show up on sale till after the three time -- but with things going pretty good i will take it -- hope ever else that sells regular things are going well  good luck all

just a update month of october and as of 10 th i have meet my costs for the month --- that is something that has not happened for a long long time -- so kep up the good work ebay -- even with your many things you do wrong i have to give credit where credit is due - iam doing better than i was 6 months ago --so just to let sellers know sometimes on this site things go right 

good luck all  the xmas season sales they  start soon and even though its not my market i still wish those that count on this season to make their nut for the year good luck

well i guess third week of oct i spoke to soon now sales are terriable  and hits are almost non existant -- just have to weather the storm of no sale for 5 days straight

Hi, did you know that your listings are set to sell to Canada only?  Not sure if that is by design or not.  When I pull up your listings with a delivery location in Canada I get 1700+ listings.  But when I change to a US delivery location, it shows 0 items, and when I click on your store it gives a message of "This store has no inventory available in your location".  

I looked at the shipping options in a listing and it shows the only option is to Canada only. That would explain slow sales.

 things have picked up in 4th week -this is another update since no else is posting much these days -- why i don't know  why every seller should at some point ask a question or give a answer here ---- but to each is own i guess - oct turned into a good month for me and well at least better than past months -- not as good as during cov19 era -- but then thats a different story --- selling to canadians has been ok even with shipping costs to outer reaches of canada extremmlt high west coast east coast way way up north -- all have reduced any chande of getting a descent profit out of my item cause i have to free ship just to stay in the game -- but thats ok as long as i cover my costs and get rid of my inverntory before i die -- i will be ok -- the dream that all those u tubers sold me on years ago about making real good money on this site well that was a pipe dream i know that now -- and just getting out with a break even black balance has been my new goal -- so things with that attitude are lokking ok -- see you around
