great offer

I often look at listings of items for sale by other sellers. Within days, eBay will send to my email a notice that some item I had viewed is now at a lower price or no longer available.

Yesterday I listed an lp and by mistake put the price at $2400 instead of $24.  A few hours after I listed it I caught the mistake and changed it to $24.

I just got an eBay notice that lp that I viewed was reduced by $2376 and was I still interested?

I am thinking that this is a great offer I cannot refuse and I should buy it myself. Ummm....

Yup, this is what happens when they leave bots in charge.  I think we'll only see more of this in the future.

Re: great offer

This happens to me everytime I lower a price on one of my items.  eBay sends me a message saying they have a great deal for me as the item has been lowered by so many dollars.  I have to laugh everytime this happens.  Like I am going to buy my own items I have up for sale.

Re: great offer

I chuckle when I make some changes to some of my items on my laptop and that evening or the next day, my phone facebook account, flashes me some ebay suggestions, which are all my own lots I was adjusting earlier!!!

Like Rose says, the bots can be a dangerous thing!
(I can't imagine riding in a driverless car!!!!!)
