Hi @lotzofuniquegoodies - I've definitely made the teams involved aware of the traffic and volume here (that's where I've been most of this week). 

I can't say what changes will or won't be implemented, but I'm definitely advocating for being clear and transparent with promotions. Thanks!

Finally i got my 50 $ coupon !

But it was not in email or my ebay messages, instead i noticed that one of the promotional emails that  ebay sends everyday (new deals and my watched items reminders) there was a promotional code (use your coupon to get 9.32 $ off ) it was for one of my watched item. after checking this code for another item, i verified that the value of this coupon is 50 $.

The expiry date is 16 Dec.

So for other sellers who participated and have not yet received the coupon, try to activate the promotional emails notification from your ebay account and watch for any email that include a code. And don't just wait for special email or message.

Again, big thanks for  tyler@ebay for taking time to help in this issue, and i hope that in future promos there will be a way to track our promos in the seller hub.

I spoke to Lori from ebay canada and she gave me the 50$ coupon! Happy about it

I didn't  receive the promo either. They like to make it complicated, and having the listing created after you accept the promo and then get the sales for it for the 2 weeks it went, I know I made sales but I have little faith in eBay anymore, I recently closed down the store that I had with them because I wasn't seeing the value in it. It seemed like it was too good to be true as a promo and it shows by the amount of people who haven't gotten a coupon to use.

Today, i tried to use my 50 $ code to buy 338$ item, there is also 8% promo cachback for ebaybucks (about 20 USD cashback for that item) after going to checkout and pay. ebay blocked me !!! i am not able to pay with any method !!

Paypal rejected, tried 2 different credit cards rejected, tried even paying with my bank account which is linked to paypal and again get rejected !! i don't think there is problem with paypal because when trying to pay with credit card i also get rejected !!!

Here is the message i get:

Sorry, this payment option isn't available. Here are your options:

• Select a different payment option.
• Contact PayPal customer service to resolve this issue.

Again there is nothing to do with paypal as i tried to pay with another methods and unlink my paypal and again the same problem.

This is the first time i encounter such a problem.

This is obviously means that ebay blocking me from using my 50$ code until it expires and until the 8% ebaybucks promo ends (it will end today).

I am 100% sure that this issue will end when all my code and promo expire!

As for me I made a purchase with my coupon (and with 8% eBucks) last week. Worked fine. So that's not why you are having this problem.

Hi @dorral-ph9tnwvd - will you please remove the item from your shopping cart, put it back and try once more? There shouldn't be an issue in using a coupon and accruing eBay Bucks, so some of the more common issues you could be receiving an error are that you're not logging into your PayPal account (trying to use the PayPal guest checkout), or the card is being refused by PayPal for whatever reason. One other common reason is a billing address mismatch, incorrect CVV or some other card detail.

I tried all your suggested solutions, nothing worked.

I sent a message to paypal, here is the reply:

"I understand your concern, I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. I will surely check your account and help you further.

Upon checking your account, Initially it was blocked by your card provider and our security program considers a variety of factors at each transaction. After reviewing your account, I can see that for this occasion, this transaction will not go through. This is only impacting this specific transaction and it is possible you won’t encounter this problem with future transactions.

I would request you to please link your bank account and make this payment."

He was not able to provide me with any solution, as i already tried 3 different credit cards, all of them were rejected, i already tried to pay with my bank account which is linked to paypal, didn't work.

Now i lost the cashback promo on that item (25$ value).

And it looks like i'll lose the 50$ code too because of this stupid glitch 😞

Yesterday i tried the 50 $ promo code with another seller and the transaction was successful!

But that was really weird as i tried everything, contacted paypal 2 times, and spent 1 hour on the phone with Jamaica from ebay and still can't understand what was the problem with that seller!

As of today, I have not received my coupon.  Activated this offer, sold an item on Nov 14th.  But still no coupon seen on My Summary.

Been trying to find info about that stupid promotion because there is no way to follow up on offers once accepted, they don't show up anywhere.

Never received any message, coupon or email.

Seems like i won't bother selling or answering offers anymore, not going to waste time on the phone with some stupid call center in India, i'll just accept i got screwed
