send offers on watched products

Hi, im thinking of sending offers on some of my products for the people watching them but i was wondering if there are any fees to do this and how effective it is at creating a sale? Thanks.

There are no fees, of course if you are sending offers you are selling at lower than normal prices.

As far as effectivness, you won';t know until you try. Factors that influence your sucess are many.

Do people really want your stuff

Is the discount sufficient to motivate them to buy

Are your competitors offering better discounts

Are you competitors offering better prices without any further discount

Are your watchers actually interested in buying or are they watching for other reasons

Some sellers report almost no success with offers, other say they do well with them, the only way to find out is to experiment.

What you may also want to do prior to sending off a bunch of offers, (if you haven't already) is update your shipping options to match how you plan to ship. That way if they sell, you will be closer to getting covered for actual shipping costs. Once the item sells and a customer pays, very difficult  to correct. If the amount the customer pays happens to be too much you can always refund at your discretion.

Yes, we updated all our ads to ship with UPS during the CP strike. Once the strike is over we will likely switch  back to CP.
