That seller is not a powerseller, let alone a titanium powerseller and never has been. You cannot be a powerseller with less than 98% positive feedback for more than a few weeks (until eBay does their monthly reviews). And they are perfectly above board with what they sell. They thrive on people's greed. Where else are you going to get a colour TV for .99 cents. When people get that TV they are somehow upset that they paid .99 cents and that it doesn't work. Little surprise that the seller gets a lot of negs. They hardly care because another greedy-gus is lining up right behind the last one.
They are also not #1 on eBay or #4 in Canada. Even they consider/promote that they are third with positive feedbacks on eBay. Check out the seller pugster888 who currently has close to 1.3 million transactions. I'm not certain they are number one but I know that they have more feedback than the outfit you are referring to. To my knowledge, soundcitybeaches is still number one in Canada.

So, I suggested to my sister, the owner of two Home Hardware's in Cambridge, that she require everyone that walks through the door of her store to check-in at the cash register with their SIN number and Driver's License in case anything goes missing during the day. I'm really, really confused here. You claim to be college and university educated and to have worked for "Canada's largest retailer" (although I still have to give that one to Canadian Tire), and yet you can not grasp the concept of branding.
When Canadian Tire bought Mark's Work Warehouse recently, did they change them all to Canadian Tires? Do the Hudson's Bay Company, Sears, and a million others not operate under multiple names depending upon the goods they are selling and their target market?
If I want to sell home decor and car parts why shouldn't I be able to separate them under multiple names just because I'm selling them on ebay?
