Back with another crazy question?

As I am looking into the site preferences I came across this, do you use this and do you have to pay more?

I've never seen that. Under which section does that show up? And is that site preferences logged into .com or .ca?

I came across that site recently by mistake while looking for something else. I ended up marking all the boxes for the places I sell to.

Have you been charged extra for listing on those sites?

As far as I know it is free. Haven't seen any extra charges for that.

Me too.  I'd be very interested to know exactly what this means.  Is it  simply a means of choosing which site(s) a seller would like to list on, i.e. no charge attached?  I also have no idea what that line at the bottom actually means:  "If you deselect a site your default description footer will no longer be available to edit...".  What? Does anyone know what that signifies?

I've listed on eBay.cafr in the past and have never seen or been presented with this list.  I don't even grasp why checking off this list would be necessary, since as far as I know you can list on any site you want.

Maybe it's a Selling Manager Pro thing, I don't use either version of Selling Manager.

On your original post there was a "learn more" link in the screen shot, can you post the url to that page.

That's for International Site Visibility which only works for the UK and (maybe) Australia. The screen shot in the OP has every single eBay site listed, I think it's something else.

I think that must be a Selling Manager Pro choice.  I don't see it either.  My cynicism says any extra thing you click at all is likely to cost you more, but if you can find that page again why not click on the LEARN MORE link and see?  Can you do that and then post the URL you get from it so that others here can see it or try to?

Hi I went to learn more and the page didn't really explain anything.  It seemed wrong to me.  Here it is:

http://pages.ebay.ca/help/sell/sm-pro-preferences.html

You're right, clicking around didn't tell me anything either except that I can't access certain pages because I am not a subscriber.  I am sure that if there is nothing on any of the pages that you, a subscriber, can find indicating you will be charged for each box you tick off, then the costs must be included in the subscription.  I just don't want to say it for sure because I don't know for sure.  A phrase like "Selling Manager Pro subscribers have an additional view in My eBay for their automation preferences.  These preferences let you make global changes to the way that you automate your listings"  makes me think it is included if they show & offer it, as in, what's included in that "additional view".

It's late now, 2-3 in the morning at the other end of the country.  By tomorrow maybe several of the Selling Manager Pro users will be along and tell you if they have used that ww sites page, what if anything was the result, and what if anything it cost.  Soon know.
