I sent a buyer a best offer which they accepted and I committed to, and then I get an email saying they declined the offer and has since sent me an invoice for the original amount. Is this an acceptable practice? Or should I email them asking why they decided to decline after they accepted my best offer.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks

I would ask the seller if there was some confusion in the communication, not if they changed their mind. It's a bit more tactful and there's less chance of your message being misinterpreted as that of a raging loonie. 😉

I'm not following you here. How can a potential buyer send you an invoice?

Sorry...I meant I sent a seller a best offer which they accepted and I then committed to buy. Then I received an email stating the seller has declined the offer and I received an invoice from them with the original price before the offer.
Just wondering if Ebay allows this or not and if I should contact the seller to ask why they changed their mind.
Thanks for any help.
