Hello, I'm new to eBay and I'm wondering how do you know how much to charge for shipping for each item your selling. I find myself guessing the shipping cost which might understate or overstate the actual cost for shipping an item. I don't want to be guessing the shipping cost of each item I sell so can someone please tell me how I can make an accurate calculation for the shipping cost.

It is actually a lot simpler than you think. Actual costs fall into very narrow categories. Make canadapost.com yer friend:

I use flat rate for USA, Canada, world based on weight. Sometimes I make a $. Sometimes I lose a $. I use price pointing anyway, so, it doesn't matter.
Get a scale and a tape measure.
