I tried to list an item for sale, but I can't get past a message saying that I have to update my automatic payment method first? Whenever I try to set it to PayPal, I get an error message stating that I cannot sign up for PayPal payments at this time!
"In order to sign up you must:
- Have an ebay seller account.....etc
- Be registered on eBay's Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Italy, Netherlands....etc...sites
- Pay your eBay seller's fee in Australian, Canadian, or US dollars, Euro, Great British Pounds or Yen"
I originally registered with eBay Germany in 2003 and updated my info when I moved to Canada in order to keep my "above standard rating". I didn't want to be forced to start from scratch again. However, my fees would be paid for in Euro or Canadian dollar anyway as required above!
I want to be able to list something!!!
Last time I sold an item was in May last year so it worked back then. I tried to call eBay, but after 1:30hrs wait time I gave up! I wrote them an email and got no response!
IMHO, with all the changes (not for the better) this site implemented over the years eBay has become really annoying!!!
Any help would be much appreciated!
